Young Wizards Appear at the HIT

On Friday 29 September, lots of young wizards showed up at the theatre to enjoy Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Kids and parents alike dressed in the costumes of their favorite characters. Many in attendance had never seen the movie on the big screen with big sound and we heard lots of comments that it was so much better in the theatre than at home on TV. We agree! The movie was screened in part to drum up interest in our November fundraiser Ironwoods Wizarding World.  That family-friendly event will see all three floors of the theatre transformed into all things magical! Enjoy an immersive FUNdraising experience with your favorite characters and scenes, along with games, raffles, and treats all in wizarding fashion throughout the theatre. There will even be a potions class for wizards 21 and older! Enjoy a guided tour with an in-character tour guide that takes you through to King’s Cross, The Platform, Goblin Bank, Diagonally, lots of shops, the world cup store, gaming areas, photo opportunities, and food stations with samples included. More information and tickets.
