It Was Just Like the Old Days!

Our free tours and silent movie during Festival Ironwood were a huge success. Lots of people who were in town for the Festival took advantage of our offer, and got to enjoy a unique experience not available in too many other theatres. Over three days, nearly 400 people toured HIT and then enjoyed Laurel & Hardy in “The Finishing Touch”.  The movie was superbly accompanied by Tim Mesun with his original score. The way Tim crafted his score was a treat to experience – audience members marveled at his ability to extract so many voices and sounds from the Barton. Our thanks to Mark SIlver-Grachek and Bruce Greenhill for their informative tours, to Tim for his usual impressive performance, and to everybody who came along to support the event.
