HammerFest Rocked the House!

HAMMERFEST, Featuring Lonnie Hammer’s Hammer Down Hard, supported by Killing Rapunzel, and Nolium –  rocked the Ironwood Theatre on Saturday, July 5th! We can’t remember ever having presented a metal show, but after witnessing the success of HammerFest we are pretty confident that it won’t be long till we do it again – or something similar. Especially since Lonnie and his band are committed to supporting young musicians playing original music.

As an institution with a mission to ensure everybody is invited to enjoy the performing arts, all of us at HIT understand that we must constantly be on the lookout for opportunities to develop and present a diverse program that appeals to all tastes and ages.   We definitely advanced that mission with HammerFest!
