Rapunzel, Rapunzel, Let Down Your Hair!

The Missoula Children’s Theatre came to Ironwood during the week of June 22 thru 27 and 43 local kids were given the opportunity to strut their stuff on our grand stage. Mushrooms, Potatoes, Giant ears of corn, Goldilocks’s four bears (or was that three bears and a beaver?), Pixies, the three Billy Goats Gruff, a couple of Unicorns, a Troll, the Prince upon his white steed, and Rapunzel, delighted the two Saturday audiences with a crazy jaunt through the French countryside. In addition to being cast in the play, the young thespians also got to engage in two midweek workshops – a fun hour or so of Improv, and a class where they learned the basics of stage make up.  Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, there was no charge to participate in the week-long theatre day-camp.
