Children’s Theatre comes to HIT in June/July

Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre (PFCT) – Alice in Wonderland

If you know of a young person between the ages of 7 & 17 who is interested in being part of our summer theatre residency and performances, here is what they need to know:
Monday 27 June Auditions at 9:30 am.
Monday 27 June Lead characters begin rehearsing 11a – 2p
Tuesday 28 June thru Friday 1 July Rehearsals 9:30a to 3p 
Saturday 2 July Performances at 2p & 6p

Our local youth thespians will venture down the rabbit hole and meet some of the most colorful characters in children’s literature as PFCT presents Alice in Wonderland. One-week residency/day camp followed by two performances. Up to 80 local youth actors (ages 7-17) are required to join the cast, which includes Alice, the King of Hearts, the Joker, the Deck of Cards, the Birds, the Caterpillar, the Flowers, the White Rabbit, March Hare & Dormouse, the Duchess, Cook & Cheshire Cat, Tweedles Dee, Dum, & Dummer. The two traveling PFCT directors will play the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts.
