Local Youth Actors Shine!

Two traveling directors from Missoula Children’s Theatre  and approximately 30 local youth actors put on two great shows on Saturday 28 June here at HIT. Their production of Treasure Island was the culmination of our annual one-week summer day camp. Auditions were held on Monday morning, they rehearsed all week, and offered two performances on Saturday. And what performances they were!

If you have young relatives or friends aged between 7 and 17 who fancy themselves as actors, be sure to tell them to look out for information this time next year. The opportunity is always offered during the last full week of June. Participation in the one-week day-camp was FREE thanks to generous support from Gogebic Range United Way and the MI Humanities Council Touring Grant fund. Our thanks also to Bob and Annette Burchell at the Classic Motor Inn for providing hospitality to the two touring directors.
